Valentine's (or other times) Gift Guide

Updated: Oct 10, 2020

January 47th is finally behind us and February 14th is now quickly approaching. If you're like me, then you've only just recovered from Christmas spending and you have absolutely no idea what to buy for your partner.

Therefore, here are some ideas:

If you're trying to avoid materialistic gifts, and would rather spend some time together - Virgin Experience Days are the way to go. They have a huge amount of variety from

afternoon tea to ghost walks so you're very likely to find something that your partner would enjoy. Two of my closest friends recently gifted us a River Thames Lunch Cruise to celebrate our engagement, and it was absolutely magical. It's the kind of gift that everybody wants but wouldnt think to buy for themselves.

My absolute favourite gift website is Not on the High Street because almost everything they sell can be personalised. The website is full of incredible, independent designers who sell such a range of beautiful items, from personalised cooking utensils to cufflinks, and notebooks.

I've been doing my gift shopping here for over 5 years now and I love it. My favourite items that I've gifted my own friends and family from here include:

For the book lovers in your life - I'm absolutely obsessed with a website called Literary Emporium. They make various products like enamel pins, prints and tote bags which are inspired by great works of literature. I particularly love the items which feature book quotes by famous authors (e.g. Shakespeare and the Bronte sisters) on them. All items are handmade and designed in Somerset. They also have gorgeous gift sets which include a book with a themed t-shirt and enamel pin for a simple way to gift someone their favourite things. Some of my favourite items are below:

Last, but certainly not least, another website which I absolutely love to use to buy gifts (mostly for myself, but often for others!) is Eclectic Eccentricity. They create the most adorable cosmic related gifts, for those of us with our heads amongst the stars. They also make zodiac birthday cards, personalised birthstone necklaces, crystal sets, and other general loveliness like notebooks and plant pots.

I was gifted this EE Jewellery 'Stay Wild Moon Child' mug for Christmas, and it's my absolute favourite! There's something here for everyone.

Happy Valentine's - however you choose to spend it. Regardless, there will be discount chocolate available the next day!
