I absolutely adore fashion, and as we start 2020, I finally feel like I have developed a sense of style that I love. I know what I enjoy wearing, and what suits me.

Please enjoy my top 12 favourite outfits I wore last year, and a collection of the stores I buy from the most. I definitely bought less in 2019 than I did in previous years, by having more of a 'shop my stash' attitude which is amazing. However, one of my goals for 2020 is to continue looking more into sustainable fashion.

I would like to start by saying that my two favourite fashion items of the year, and probably of the entire decade, are these two beautiful swishy numbers. Still images of them are below but if you want to see them in all of their flowy glory - click here and here!

I wore the beautiful blue ballgown esque dress to my graduation and I felt like an absolute princess all day. I love the royal blue colour, the off the shoulder cut and all of the gorgeous lace. I'm looking forward to wearing this to a lot more - I just need to find the right event! It's from Quiz, and I'm sure as you'll realise as you continue reading, much of my clothing is.

The white bow tie-up cami from River Island in the second photo added a cute detail to this outfit, which I wore to a baby shower. The white and pink ombre Chi Chi London skirt is probably THE prettiest clothing item that I own. I absolutely love how feminine and pretty it is. Once again, I'm obsessed with the flowiness of it, and how it made me feel like a Disney princess. 10/10.

And now on to the remaining 10 outfits! Fun idea: look out for how much my hair grows by the end of the year.

Ah. The double faux leather moment. I wore this one at the start of 2019 on my way to meet up with one of my friends in London. (She was the birthday girl - not me!) I absolutely cannot wait for the weather to be warm enough for me to wear this floral jacket again. I get so many compliments every time I wear it and it adds something special to an otherwise plain outfit. Both the faux leather jacket and jeans are from Quiz, and the adorable heart earrings are from Miss Selfridge. To more Rosa Diaz goodness like this in 2020.

Another beautiful dress from Quiz. I've had this one for years and wore it a countless number of times last year. The light, flowy material is so nice on breezy on hot Summer days, and again, I can't wait to wear it when the weather warms up. It's super cute especially for a picnic or a date day.

This is a very me outfit, which clearly shows off that my favourite colours are pink and rose gold. This polka dot shirt from New Look is incredibly classy, and feminine. It's a regular length shirt which I tied up just to give it a little extra styling, and paired with the large pink River Island hoops, and the rose gold Claire's headband, it made for a very classic Esha outfit.

Okay. At this point, I have to admit that I appear to be addicted to Quiz clothing because this entire outfit is from there. I love the square neck and frilly sleeves on this bodysuit, plus these shorts with the built in circle belt for an added bit of detailing. I very rarely wear an outfit where both items are the same colour, but I felt like this went together quite well.

I took this photo in our garden when I had just had my highlights topped up, so enjoy my 'fresh hair colour' dance here, but anyway, how cute is this crop top?! It's actually from a brand I hadn't come across before called Milk It, which is exclusively found on ASOS. It's a bit shorter than the crop tops I would usually go for, but it was around this time that I fell in love with midi skirts, and I imagine that this would pair beautifully with one of those - which leads me on nicely to -

My Reading Pride 2019 outfit! I felt super cute in this, and I just love this New Look 'love is love' tee, even when it's just a regular day. This neon coral midi skirt from Liquorish on ASOS is so bright and summery, which makes me very happy . It's hard to tell in this photo but it has a lovely pleated overlay too - so it's perfect for twirling!

2019 is also the year that I discovered I can wear jumpsuits. Being exactly 5ft, I've always found that jumpsuits are far too long for me. It turns out that the Quiz Petite range combats that problem perfectly. This white and red floral jumpsuit was perfect for this anniversary River Thames cruise. The material wasn't too tight either so I felt comfortable and cute while eating all of the food!

December. The month of my birthday, Christmas and NYE. All of the best things in life. For my birthday dinner, I wore this red lace bodysuit from (yes) Quiz, which I've had for probably around half a decade now. The bright cherry red feels super festive, and the lace detailing adds such a glamorous touch to it. As it's a bodysuit, there's no way that it'll accidentally come untucked which makes it look so sleek with a pair of jeans. I can't believe I was ever so against bodysuits because I can't see myself going back, now.

Welcome to me as a brunette for the end of 2019, along with a festive red lip and a gorgeous baby blue dress. I actually bought this dress along with the royal blue one from the beginning of this post, as I was considering them both as graduation options. In the end, I thought that this would make a cuter party option, which is exactly what I wore it to. I absolutely adore this baby blue mermaid style midi dress, with the beautiful white lace detailing up one of the shoulders. There's nothing like a Quiz occasion dress to make you feel like the Belle of the ball.

Well, hello. This dress would've been SO far out of my comfort zone a few years, or possibly even a few months ago, but I'm absolutely obsessed with it. I wore this red satin thigh slit maxi dress on NYE, and I didn't think it was possible to love a dress this much. I've never worn anything with a slit in it before but it's such a gorgeous detail, which makes the dress feel so sleek and classic. I paired it with these gold glittery slingback heels from New Look to heighten the glamour even further, because why not?

It's our Roaring '20s. Let's not waste them hiding away in clothes that we don't like because we feel like we have to, wear what YOU feel best in, and what makes you happy.

Do you have any fashion trends or items that you want to try out this year?! xo
