Brand Review: Too Faced

Updated: Oct 10, 2020

Too Faced. The brand that is known for their adorably packaged sweet peachy and chocolate scented products. For years, I've been intrigued by them, especially around Christmas time when their sparkling gift sets come out.

You can imagine my delight when I recently found out that Too Faced is Cruelty Free!

The first thing that I knew I had to immediately buy was this gorgeous Christmas set for £24. Knowing that both of these items are over £15 separately, this made my heart incredibly happy.

I remember when the Better than Sex mascara was ALL of the rage, and I imagine that it was the high price point that stopped me checking if they were even CF or not. However, I have to admit, I absolutely love this mascara. It makes my lashes full and lengthened, without making them clumpy or dry.

Along with the mascara, this Twinkle Twinkle Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in the shade "Honey, Please" is also stunning. I don't often wear eyeshadow because I have hooded eyes, but these are such easy 'one and done' eyeshadows. I wore this at a family gathering yesterday, and I still had beautifully sparkling eyelids 10 hours later!

I also went ahead and bought another shade, called 'Strawberries and Champagne', which is a beautiful pink sparkly shade.

They do look quite similar in the bottle, because I clearly have a type, so here they are swatched on my hand.

Among the array of eye make up, I was also fascinated by this 'Dew You Fresh Glow Luminous Face Primer'. This primer is infused with watermelon and cucumber, so it smells absolutely d i v i n e. It has tiny micro glitters in it that don't look chunky on the face, but instead leave a natural looking radiance and blurring effect. Pictured below.

Here is a photo of my small Too Faced collection, but as I'm sure you can tell, I'm SO excited to continue building it.

Which Too Faced product do you recommend that I try next?! xo
