It's been a few months since I made a beauty blog post dedicated to just one set of products, but here we are again. At the beginning of lockdown, while the Colourpop distribution centre was closed, (because they care about their workers - go Colourpop!), I made an order which contained the Disney Designer 'Kiss The Girl' lipstick set. It finally arrived this week, so I thought I would show you what it looks like. If you're either thinking of getting this set, want to find out more about Colourpop's incredible lipstick formula, or you just love make up like I do, this blog post is for you.

You might remember from my 'Colourpop Favourites' post I wrote in March that I had already bought the 'Ariel' lipstick separately to test the formula/colour, and fell absolutely in love with both. Buying the set means I now have 5 other stunning shades and a back up of my favourite one!

Prior to purchasing 'Ariel', I hadn't used a lipstick bullet for about 4 years because I much prefer a plush, creamy liquid lipstick, so the fact that I'm raving about how satiny and non-drying these are really says something.

First of all, I have to talk about the packaging. Each glossy golden lipstick bullet features all of the signatures of the Disney princesses featured in the collection. They look and feel incredibly high end, and would look so luxurious on a dressing table. *please note, these pebbles are in our back garden, I did not break lockdown to go a beach!*

The signatures are also featured on the back of the box. Did I mention how pretty the box is, too?! They really didn't miss anything with this collection.

As you can also see from the bottom of the lipsticks, there's such a range of colours in this collection, all the way from a blue-toned Barbie pink to a deep brown/red, so there's something for everyone.

Colourpop has a little bit of a running joke of naming their products names which don't match the shade of the eyeshadow/lipstick at all, but I'm SO glad that they refrained from that during this launch. Every lipstick looks exactly like what I imagine the princesses they're named after, to wear.

What follows are my arm swatches of the collection, followed by what each shade looks like on me.

I'm wearing the same make up look in every photo (product list below) apart from in the photo for 'Ariel', as I wanted to show off one of their pretty Super Shock Shadows on that day, as it's a nude lipstick.

From top to bottom: Tiarna, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella.

Starting with Cinderella, this is a beautiful Barbie pink, which is a colour I don't often wear but I am a big fan of it. I think it's one of the more 'everyday' shades of the collection because it isn't too out there, yet it makes a statement.

Moving on to one of the more 'out there' reds, which will make you feel straight out of the Livin La Vida Loca music video, we have Snow White. I LOVE wearing red lipsticks for evenings out, or just with a bare face and some mascara for an easy, bold look. A true apple (get it?!) red. One of my favourites.

Now for a beautiful vibrant fuchsia, Jasmine is a gorgeous hot pink - another colour which I haven't worn for YEARS, but I've rediscovered my obsession for due to this shade. This would look stunning for a Summer BBQ (when we can have those again!)

The next shade, Belle, is the first one that I didn't fall instantly in love with. It's the exact same colour as my natural lips so it feels a little bit too muted for me. However, I do think it's a nice colour - just maybe not on me.

You already know that I love 'Ariel', but here is a photo of the soft peach/nude goodness. I absolutely love pairing this one with a vibrant Super Shock Shadow ('six in the city') on my eyes, like I've done here.

Finishing off with the lip swatches, Tiarna is a stunning deep red lipstick which is the deepest lipstick I've ever worn so it's a little out of my comfort zone! I'm not sure that it suits me, but I think it's a good one to have in my collection for specific make up looks.

Which is your favourite shade?! xo
